Alumni and friends turned out in force for special events in The Villages, Sarasota and Fort Myers. Food and drink were on the menu and camaraderie was in the air as guests attended classes, socialized and got the latest CSU updates.
Our visit began at the Villages, where Interim Law Dean Lee Fisher and Nursing Dean Timothy Gaspar presented informative lectures, followed by a reception. Then it was on to Sarasota and a lively alumni reception.
The trip concluded with CSU2U, our second-annual Alumni College, in Fort Myers. This unforgettable day showcased three faculty members – Interim Dean Fisher, Associate Professor Katherine Judge, and Professor Mark Souther – who presented six standing-room-only classes on a variety of contemporary topics. Alumni College concluded with a reception and remarks by President Ronald M. Berkman.
“Alumni engagement makes our University strong. We always look forward to visiting Florida, seeing alumni who have become good friends, and reconnecting with alumni who have not been part of our Viking network for a while,” said Brian Breittholz, assistant vice president, Alumni Relations.
Thanks to everyone who joined us. We hope you had a great time and that these photos bring back happy memories!
